Nimbus Meural Bridge

Price range: $73.00 through $201.00

A small device that keeps your Meural Canvas frames working independently of Netgear’s cloud — it runs on a Raspberry Pi on your home network and connects your frames to Nimbus.

Heads up — service is required and ongoing. The bridge needs an active Nimbus subscription to work, billed per frame: from $4/mo ($40/yr) for your first frame, and each additional frame is half price. The price below is the bridge hardware plus your first frame’s first service period — choose your plan and period to see your total.

Description

Keep Your Meural Canvas Frames Working

The Nimbus Meural Bridge connects your Meural Canvas frames to the Nimbus cloud, replacing Netgear’s servers. Your frames continue displaying art, photos, and playlists — no matter what happens to Meural’s cloud service.

Before you buy — there’s an ongoing service cost. The bridge only works with an active Nimbus subscription, and service is billed per frame: from $4/mo ($40/yr) for your first frame, with each additional frame at half price. The amount you pay here is the bridge hardware plus your first frame’s first service period; you select that plan and period above.

How It Works

The bridge runs on a small Raspberry Pi device on your home network. It communicates with your Meural frames locally and delivers art directly to each frame’s display interface. You manage everything through the Nimbus app and website.

What You’ll Need

  • One or more Meural Canvas frames (Canvas I or Canvas II, any size)
  • A WiFi network — the bridge and your frames must be on the same network
  • A Nimbus account with an active service plan (choose your plan and billing period above)
  • Power: a power supply is available above as an add-on (US +$12 / International +$15), or use your own 5V micro-USB charger rated 2.5A or higher

Choosing Mini vs. Full

Bridge Mini (Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W) is built for 1–2 Meural frames. Bridge Full (Raspberry Pi 3B+) has more processing power for 3 or more frames. Both ship as a ready-to-run device with a case, a pre-flashed SD card, and a quick-start guide.

Already have a Raspberry Pi? The SD Card Image (DIY download) lets you run the bridge software on your own Pi (Pi Zero 2 W, Pi 3B+, Pi 4, or Pi 5). It also requires a Nimbus account with an active service plan.
