Description
Run the Nimbus Bridge on Your Own Raspberry Pi
This is a do-it-yourself download, not a physical product — we don’t ship you a card. You download the Nimbus Bridge disk image, flash it onto your own microSD card, and run it on a Raspberry Pi you already own. It does the same job as the ready-made Nimbus Meural Bridge: it keeps your Meural Canvas frames working through Nimbus instead of Netgear’s cloud.
What you’ll need to supply
- A Raspberry Pi — Pi Zero 2 W, Pi 3B+, Pi 4, or Pi 5
- A microSD card, 8 GB or larger
- A computer with an SD-card reader to flash the image (free tools like Raspberry Pi Imager or balenaEtcher)
- A 5V power supply for your Pi (micro-USB for Pi Zero 2 W / 3B+, USB-C for Pi 4 / 5), rated 2.5A or higher
- Your Pi on the same WiFi network as your Meural frames
- A Nimbus account with an active service plan — choose your plan and billing period above
How it works
After purchase you’ll receive the image download and step-by-step flashing instructions. Flash the image to your microSD card, insert it into your Pi, power it on, and finish setup in the Nimbus mobile app — it connects your Pi to your account and pairs your Meural frame(s). We’re here to help if you get stuck.
Prefer a ready-to-run device? The Nimbus Meural Bridge ships as a complete, pre-configured bridge — just plug it in.
